The Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) has appointed Professor Jens Suedekum as a research fellow in the programme area “International Trade and Regional Economics”.
The DICE is now an official member of The Centre on Regulation in Europe (CERRE). The independent institution works on the regulation of European industries, mainly network industries such as electricity or railway. The think tank is based in Brussels and allows the DICE to foster its network with leading universities, policy makers, and enterprises.
The CERRE has three core topics: international standardization of regulation, market delineation, and research on regulatory instruments. The research results and policy advises base on latest research techniques and include knowledge from economics, law, and social science. Furthermore, the institute cooperates intensively with the European Commission and offers trainings and workshops.
Research at DICE encloses theoretical, empirical and experimental work on competition problems. Preliminary results are published in two workings paper series.
