Prof. Dr. Hans-Theo Normann together with Dr. Olivia Bodnar (formerly DICE now DICE Consult) and Melinda Fremerey (formerly DICE now IW Köln) and Dr. Jannika Schad (formerly DICE now Uni Siegen)) won the Concurrences Antitrust Writing Award 2022 in the category Academic Article/ Private Enforcement!

The award was given for the article "The effects of private damage claims on cartel activity: Experimental evidence", which was published in the renowned Journal of Law, Economics, and Organization. The article addresses the effects of private damage claims against cartels on leniency.

The Antitrust Writing Award is presented once a year by Concurrences Review and the George Washington University Law School Competition Law Center and recognizes the best articles of the year in the areas of antitrust and mergers.
