Postdoc Bernhard Kasberger receives the Hanns Abele Prize 2021 of the University of Vienna for his dissertation "Essays in Auction Theory". In his thesis, Kasberger deals with auction formats for the state auction of frequency bands to mobile phone companies and which properties different auction formats have. In particular, the focus is on the impact of the format on the auction outcome and on the market structure after the auction.
The Adele Prize is aimed at young researchers and is endowed by the family of Prof. Dr. Hanns Abele.
