The new DICE publication series Düsseldorf Student Economic Review (DSER) was published for the first time on 17 April 2025. Alongside the Bonn Journal of Economics and the Berlin Student Journal of Economics, the DSER is one of the few journals in Germany organised and published by students.
The series provides a public platform for outstanding economics theses by HHU students. The aim is to make the excellent academic achievements of young researchers visible and to promote exchange at student level. It is particularly noteworthy that the founding and realisation of the DSER is based exclusively on a student initiative. The series is edited by Master's student Patrick Tenner.
The first issue of the DSER is now available online and brings together a selection of particularly successful Bachelor's and Master's theses from the Department of Economics.
The DSER will be published regularly in future and can be accessed via the DICE website.
