Tobias Thomas has been appointed by the Austrian Federal Minister of Economy, Energy, and Tourism to serve as a member of the Austrian Competition Commission for the term from 2026 to 2030. The Competition Commission advises the Federal Ministry of Economy, Energy, and Tourism (BMWET) and the Federal Competition Authority (BWB) on competition policy issues and issues opinions on merger proceedings.
