Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier has appointed Jens Südekum, Professor of International Economics at DICE, as a new member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi).
The Scientific Advisory Board advises the BMWi independently in the form of letters and expert opinions on economic policy issues and determines the subject of its deliberations itself.
Jens Südekum has been teaching and researching at DICE since 2014. His research focuses on foreign trade, regional policy, digitisation and local labour markets.
