Dr. Jürgen Coppik has been an independent management consultant in Düsseldorf and Krefeld with the company Coppik Economics since 2010. As a lawyer with a doctorate and a degree in economics, he specializes in topics at the intersection of law and economics, particularly in economic consulting in competition law proceedings. He has more than 15 years of professional experience in consulting and industry. The preparation of economic analyses and argumentations as well as their orientation towards the relevant legal issues of the respective proceedings form the focus of his work. Prior to his self-employment, Coppik worked for four years at the international management consultancy A. T. Kearney, focusing on strategy and regulation in the telecommunications industry, and then spent five years at Vodafone Germany, where he was responsible for competition economics and regulatory strategy.
Coppik studied economics and law at Freie Universität Berlin, where he was awarded a doctorate in law (magna cum laude) in 2007. In 2018, he was appointed honorary professor at Heinrich Heine University in the subject of economics.
