Teaching and Research Interests

 

Ulrich Heimeshoff has taught Microeconomics, Economic Policy, Industrial Economics, Regulation of Financial Markets, and Empirical Industrial Organization.
His research interests are mainly in empirical studies of regulated industries as telecommunications and energy as well as financial markets. Some specific topics of his research were empirical studies of the determinants of telecommunications investments and the effects of competition and regulation on banking stability.
