Dr. Johannes Odenkirchen works as an economist at Compass Lexecon in Brussels. Prior to that, he spent nearly two years at DICE Consult as an economist. He has worked on a variety of cases for public and private clients on antitrust matters and regulatory investigations in the telecommunication, gasoline and electricity industry. His research focuses on issues in industrial organization, such as collusion and common ownership. He obtained his PhD in economics from the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics. He holds a master’s degree in economics from Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf and a bachelor’s degree from University of Cologne.
