Dr. Chi Trieu is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Düsseldorf, Germany. At Compass Lexecon, Chi’s work focuses on the application of economic analysis to competition policy cases. She has assisted in providing advice to parties in merger proceedings before multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Chi was a (post-)doctoral researcher at DICE between 2016 and 2021. During this time, she conducted experimental and behavioral research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hannah Schildberg-Hörisch. Chi is experienced with implementing experiments in laboratory and online setups using Ztree, Otree, and Prolific.
