Professor Jens Südekum will become a new member of the Gerda Henkel Foundation's Board of Trustees on 1 January 2024. The Gerda Henkel Foundation supports the historical humanities. In 2017, it was honoured as "Science Foundation of the Year".
In addition to Jens Südekum, the members of the Board of Trustees are Julia Schulz-Dornburg (Chairwoman), Prof Dr Andreas Beyer (Deputy Chairman), Dr Kaspar von Braun, Dr Carolin Emcke and Martin Kobler.
